Hunk Matt Di Angelo reckons Strictly Come Dancing makes EastEnders look like panto.
The star – Albert Square’s Deano Wicks – admits being put through his paces for the hit series is much harder than rehearsing for the soap.
Matt, 20, who was given emergency treatment for torn knee ligaments last week, told our source: “We rehearse around four hours a day and it’s really tough. I thought learning my lines for EastEnders was difficult – now I realise just how easy it is. Strictly makes East-Enders look like pantomime.”
Matt – who has now been axed as Deano – was in agony after damaging his knee but the biggest hurt was being unable to practise with gorgeous partner Flavia Cacace. Our source revealed: “Matt has the hots for her.”
He’d better watch his step as her fella Vincent Simone is close by, partnering Stephanie Beacham. Stars on the BBC1 show include Alesha Dixon, BrianCapron, Gabby and Kenny Logan, Dom Littlewood, Kate Garraway, Gethin Jones, John Barnes, Letitia Dean and Willie Thorne.
