Evening all.
Well, for me, tonight fell a little flat after the thrills and spills of last Saturday night. What do you think? Matt looked like he was going to cry after his tango; and did you see him whisper to Flavia as they finished the dance “I’m so sorry I’m so sorry”?
That leads me to beleive that he messed up the steps and I’m not sure he recovered from that. I actually really liked Matt’s performances, but after last week my expectations were high. Fingers crossed he gets through; he has real talent.
Poor Letitia! Throwing up between dances, shaking in front of the judges and Tess because of her flu-what a nightmare for her. She did her best during a difficult time, and I’m sure if she comes back next week (will she be in the bottom two?) then she’ll do really well.
Now Kenny, I actually really enjoyed his performances this eveing and thought he showed great character and improvement. I loved his rumba, and thought he acted it really well.
Alesha is a difficult one. Yes we all have ridiculously high expectations of her but it’s only becasue she’s so good and is a fab dancer. No-one can say her performances were bad, she did get a smattering of tens for both dances, but something was missing.
Gethin woo woo! Finally his personality comes out! He was the only good thing about the show tonight and I absolutely LOVED him! His waltz was just gorgeous and his salsa was incredible. I thought he’d get better marks actually.
I think tonight everyone was affected by Kelly’s absence and her loss which is perfectly understandable as I’m sure all the couples get close and form friendships and it’s only natural to feel it.
Well done all, can’t wait for the show tomorrow to see who is out (please not Matt!).
