After slumming it as a Costa conwoman prison inmate in TV’s Bad Girls, Stephanie Beacham loves the glamour of being a contestant in the latest series of BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing. But the ex-Dynasty actress admits to one new problem: unsightly corns.
Stephanie, 60, who appeared in Bad Girls for four years and will be competing alongside celebrities such as Kelly Brook and Penny Lancaster in the ballroom dancing contest, has long forgotten the misery of painful stilettos.
Famed for exuding timeless glamour and style, she admits: “All the dancing has made me footsore.
I wore boots in prison for four years for Bad Girls, which was bliss, but I’d forgotten how to wear proper shoes. Now I’ve sore bumps on my tootsies!”
You wouldn’t get Stephanie’s fellow Dynasty star Joan Collins ever admitting to corns!
