Brendan says £30K paycheck not enough

BALLROOM pro Brendan Cole said his £30,000 Strictly Come Dancing pay is too low.

Judges on the BBC1 hit get £90,000 for a three-month series and host Bruce Forsyth gets £450,000. All pro dancers get the same deal as Brendan.

The 32-year-old whinged: “My money from Strictly just about pays the bills. I don’t have a car. I would like to get one, but until then I’m on the Tube.”

Speaking to Star magazine he added: “I don’t even own my house that I live in. I can’t afford it. I rent where I live.”

    I thnk that if it was not a contest why should the professionals and celebrities try so hard to be good. I am fed up with all the comments about John still being in. Honestly he should have left a couple of weeks ago. For me it was spoiling the programme as at least two very good dancers have left.
