Quarter Final Results: Austin and Erin voted off!

Austin and Erin have been voted off!

Lisa and Brendan were also in the bottom two.

I’m really happy as although I had nothing against Austin and Erin I really really loved the other three couples and have been praying that they get through.

I really didn’t think it would happen as I assumed that Austin would definitely make it through to the final. I thought there was NO way he would ever be in the bottom two; and if he was; no way that he would be voted out by the judges. I thought they adored him!

However, Austin’s American Smooth and Salsa were in fact so far behind all the other dances tonight that it does make sense.

Austin had to dance the Salsa and Lisa the Waltz in the dance-off. Now, no-one could argue that Lisa’s Waltz wasn’t a million times better than Austin’s Salsa so they judges HAD to put them through right?

My dream Semi final next week I am over the bloomin’ moon!

Remember that there is no Sunday night results show next week; it’s all on the Saturday night!

    I am a big fan on the show, however, tonite was a complete farce…Erin and Austin where fabulous, and I believe it to be rediculous that the panel were asked to choose. We voted over 60 times for Erin and Austin…The bottom two couples should be asked to dance the SAME DANCE ie a Waltz or Latin…this would be fair…not as it is now. I am so discussed…WELL DONE ERIN AND AUSTIN, you should be in the next round….I am now voting for either couples EXCEPT Lisa and Brendon….if they had danced the Jive…they would not have won tonite…because their dance was DREADFUL…..

    brendan & lisa to win. Avid strictly viewer. Best series ever the celebrities are undoubtly the best ever. Thought brendan was amazing with coreography. Well done you two.

    I am also a big fan of the show and while I do agree that someone has to leave I do think the judges are quite biased when they need to decide who survives the dance-off. Their decison is alwyas predictable. For example, last night I knew that Austin did not stand a chance because the judges adore Lisa since they think she has improved a lot etc. Also by her doing the Waltz in the dance off I knew Austin did not stand a chance with his samba based on the judges comments after Lisa danced the Waltz. I think Austin is fabuluous and like most of the publice I enjoy his dances more than Lisa’s, remembering that when this competiton started he was the one to beat, and the one the judges spoke very highly of in the beginning. I think Rachel and Vincent are fantastic and they are the ones “picked” by the judges to win, so if anyone comes up against them in the dance off as Heather and Christine did, this means your automatic dismissal, since as I said before the judges decision is always predictabe when it comes to the dance off, and most of all Rachel can do no wrong. Even if they have their favorites for various reasons, when it comes to the dance off they need to be fair and judge ONLY on the dance off and not on past performances, preconceived notions or most of all favouritisim. All this takes away from the show. Lisa should have been gone after that horrible samba she did, but again she is the judges pet, and Rachel’s score of ten is guaranteed just for showing up. The majority of the public already knows the outcome of the competition.

    I personally thought Lisa was fabulous, I love all her dances and I want her to get through to the finals, she might not but you should all stop hating on her. It’s not her fault. Also, Lisa’s not the Judges pet, they prefer Rachel.

    What a disgrace that austin and erin were voted off! they are clearly the better dancers and i think its very sad that they were voted off when they had the potential to win! lisa is sooo annoying and brendan, dont even get me started! their jive was appauling!
    Rachel and vincent to win and her and tom to be in the final!
    i agree with whoever said they should either both perform a latin or a ballroom as this would make the dance off more fair and they judges should judge on who is the better dancer overall NOT who danced best that night, otherwise as we saw the other night, the better dancers will be voted off!

    As far as I’m concerned there should not be a dance off in the Quarter Finals. I would be willing to bet my house that Lisa and Brendan got the lowest amount of public votes on last Saturday’s show. Therefore – if that was the case they should have been the ones to go. Lisa is not a patch on Austin both in dancing terms as well as pure entertainment value. Brendan always shows his true colours and is abnoxious. I sure hope he doesn’t win or his head will swell so much it won’t fit it the studio doors no more!

    Well done Erin and Austin. Great entertainment given to us for the past 10 or so weeks. Tragic to see you gone.

    Let’s hope for a Tom and Rachel final and may the best dancer win.
