    As much as I love John and Kristina it is an absolute shocker that Cherie has gone she was so graceful and refined she did not deserve to be voted out

    Old prunes can’t dance..better to go now than nearer the final where PR would convince her she would have a chance. Keep voting for John…he is achieving everything us active sixty year olds wish we could do.

    I don’t think the judges should have the last word about who goes from the bottom two – it should be a public vote. It is supposed to be a light entertainment show for the public.

    I think John Sargeant should throw in the towel and go grascefully from the competition – it is after all a DANCING competition and not a personality programme

    This is the first time of writing, but just had to do so. I know it is an entertainment show, but there is no way that Cherie should have left this week. She has been a wonderful example of elegance, grace and self-deprecation. A marvellous ambassador for those over 50 something. Well done Cherie

    Sorry but john should have gone 2 or 3 weeks ago. I know it`s light entertainment, but it is a also a dance competition & the public should vote on their dance ability not reputation.

    I totally agree, John Sergeant should have left weeks ago, this is a dance contest, if the BBC would like it to be another kind of programme, they should introduce another programme, for fun or whatever. I live in The Netherlands and I watch Strictly every Saturday and Sunday, and most of the time also the weekday programme at 6.30 UK time. I saw Nathasha Kaplinski win with partner Brendan Cole, Brendan is one of my favourites, together with Matthew Cuttler and Ian Waite. And I watched each year ever since that first year with Natasha Kaplinsky. This year’s competitors are the best ever, apart from you know who!

    i ts not johns fault its the bbc why do they have people of certain age on the programme when they know fine well they are not going to win thats called enrtertainment so len like it or get off the show on that why dont we the public who pay the judges wages vote the them on or off im sure theres lots of more judges would be glad to pick that nice wage packet i think john will do well after this is all over. just imagine next year with a new set of judges i dont normaly vote but ill be voting for john this week.

    This is a dancing competition which is becoming a farce as nice as John Sargeant is he isn’t a dancer and should have been voted off this week if not before it really i s spoiling what has become a fantastic and most entertaining show that so many people look forward to and are now becoming dismayed. I feel for the judges who are paid to do a job and the other dancers too. Is John embarrassed by it all I wonder, I certainly would be so please everyone do vote now for the best dancers and not personalities ,so let us have our show back and may the very best dancer win.

    In the first few weeks John boasted about how much weight he was loosing, he doesn’t appear to have lost anymore, does that mean he’s stopped the training becasue he doesn’t have to try anymore, the public will save him,! it certainly looks that way. No matter how good poor Kristina is she will never make the him any good.
    Lets be honest how many of us would like his hand all over us, I for one wouldn’t,
    As for someone saying we pay the judges wages, no we don’t we pay a licence fee, we do not send a cheque to Len or Arlene.
    Sadly the more people go on about he must go, the public will save him, we always love the underdog, it’s the British way.
    As much as I hate to say it, let him win, they’ll just change the voting format next year then.

    I think “wattie” sums up in a nutshell the type of person who votes for John Sergeant. Angry, bitter and twisted? Surely not!
