What a coup eh? I asked Chris and Ola a few sneaky questions about Strictly Come Dancing.
Chris – How do you feel you compare to your fellow BBC newsreader Bill Turnbull? Can you get further in the competition than him?
I think Bill was much smoother and a more consistent performer. I keep letting myself down on the big night. I am beginning to panic so things need to change. I hope I can go further than him otherwise I won’t hear the end of it!
Chris – Do you prefer the Latin or the Ballroom and why?
I think it has to be Latin. That was until I forgot my steps in the jive. The Rumba was my favourite dance so far (the only one I have actually performed well!) but hopefully I will match it this weekend in the American Smooth.
Do you read the blogs and forums – if so what’s the strangest thing any has commented about you so far in the competition?
I do read the forums. they are great fun. I would love to thank all of the Chris’ Chicks and the members of team Cola. I hope I won’t let you down. The funniest thing I have heard about me is that I dance like Ernie Wise!!
Which dance are you most looking forward to and why?
There is no particular dance I am looking forward to but I am hoping the next one will be an improvement on the last.
Which dance are you dreading and why?
My last dance because it will mean the competition is over!!
Chris – Who is your favourite judge and why?
I love them all. I have to say that!! But it close between Craig for his brutal honesty and Bruno for his enthusiasm.
If you were to get knocked out who will you be supporting?
That’s a toughie! It would be a toss up between Ricky Groves and Phil.
What would be your favourite song to dance to?
I always wanted to dance to Billy Jean and I have done that ( in a way) in the group dance.
