They entertained the Strictly crowds with her gawky dancing and his outbursts at the judges, but Jo Wood and Brendan Cole have finally been given their marching orders.
The former model and fiery New Zealander lost out this week in a dance off with Olympian Jade Johnson and her partner Ian Waite.
The 54-year-old, whose dancing was compared to the moves of a ‘bush kangaroo’, admitted she was surprised she had lasted until the sixth week.
Her samba had been branded a ‘dance disaster’ by Craig Revel Horwood who scored them just two points, while judge Bruno Tonioli told her, ‘You dragged poor Brendan into samba hell’.
The couple languished at the bottom of the scoreboard with just 14 points, a full 23 points behind the top scorers.

Jade Johnson had scored 32 with her samba dressed in a daring cut away silver dress that left little to the imagination.
Ms Wood said after her defeat: ‘I enjoyed every second.’
Hollyoaks and The Bill star Ali Bastian and partner Brian Fortuna earned the highest score of the series with their American Smooth.

They were awarded three 9s and a rare 10 from Bruno.
He told them they had given him goosebumps. ‘I knew you had it, I’ve been waiting six weeks, its magic time!’

Coronation Street’s Craig Kelly scored the second lowest performance with just 18 points.
Flavia’s tiny blue dress left very little to the imagination
His partner Flavia Cacace wore a tiny blue outfit which left barely anything to the imagination, and perhaps that secured them the public vote.
Judge Alesha Dixon told Craig: ‘I can see you are trying but its like your body has a mind of its own.’
And Bruno was furious after the performance.
‘You still cannot deliver,’ he fumed. ‘There is a total musical bypass. You stand still for five minutes and Flavia is going mental around you. I’ve had it.’

Natalie Cassidy and Vincent Simone performed the American Smooth, which was her favourite dance so far. But she admitted she had sucumbed to nerves once again.
Bruno told her she had to keep pulling her chest up, and to her embarrassment adding: ‘I know you’re very well endowed but you need to keep pulling up’.

Zoe Lucker and James Jordan fought back after being saved last week by the judges.
Their American Smooth to My Girl was branded sophisticated, ‘elegant’ and ‘graceful’.
Bruno told them: ‘It was a beautiful dance beautifully delivered.’
The couple scored 33 points.
Laila Rouass and Anton du Beke were criticised for the content of their dance. Craig told them it lacked any ‘wow factor’ because it had too much disco in it.
Len agreed and said: ‘If that routine was a colour, it was beige. The whole thing needed some sparklers in there. It was all a bit flat.’
The couple scored 28 points, and will add fire to criticisms from some Strictly fans that Anton Du Beke’s Latin dances are not at the same standard as his ballroom moves.

Also scoring 28 points was sports presenter Chris Hollins. He was praised for his American Smooth but Alesha warned it was a ‘bit serious’.
The normally dour Craig commended him, saying: ‘I thought you did fantastically well. You do have a few slight problems. Your hands are bothering me.’
Phil Tufnell did a samba to Daddy Cool, but the judges felt his performance was not up to standard for week six and that his bottom wiggling was no longer funny.
Craig told him: ‘All that pumping and grinding has become quite tiresome.’
Head judge Len Goodman said: ‘What I like is your attitude. You don’t come out timid, you come out full on.’

Ricky Groves and Erin Boag were praised in the American Smooth and scored 29 points with a dance to Mary Poppins song Chim Chim Cher-ee.
Craig told him it was a’prodigious effort’ and ‘enjoyable’, but Len said his shoulders were too hunched.

Hollyoaks favourite Ricky Whittle was awarded 32 points out of 40 for his samba with Natalie Lowe, despite his fears that the dance had not ‘clicked’ for him.
Alesha praised his hip action and Craig said that while ‘not perfect’ it was ‘overall an extraordinary effort’.
Bruno called him a ‘sexy beast’. ‘You were working those hips to the point of meltdown,’ he added.
