Quarter final night for Strictly Come Dancing and I’m all a tingle!

Wow! What a night – if this is the standard of the quarter finals I can’t wait until the semis!

First mention of the night has to go to my favourites Pamela and James. Once I got over the shock and joy of seeing James topless I was able to concentrate on their beautiful Viennese Waltz.

Wasn’t it just fantasic and really moving?

Alesha was right; it all came together: perfect song, perfect outfit, perfect dance, PERFECT SCORE! They received the first “4 tens” of the series and got 40 out of 4o. They must make it through to the semi- finals; I voted for them twice.

Now then in contrast Ann & Anton. In fairness to Ann I thought she actually looked like she as trying to dance this week and I really enjoyed her American Smooth. She kept in time and the lifts were good. I thought Alesha,Len and Bruno were just rude and I’m glad Craig tried to smooth things out – sort of!

On to Scott and Naked Natalie. This weeks Strictly Come Dancing was very naked this week wasn’t it?!

Scott and Natalie performed a James Bond themed Paso Doble – difficult dance to it right. They did well, I thought, and I enjoyed the way the dance increased in drama, but I’m not sure about them. Hmmm.

Matt and Aliona danced the Jive and Matt was dressed up as Austin Powers. I thought his acting skills were brilliant but the lack of actual steps may have let him down tonight – will he be in the bottom two?

Gavin and Katya danced a Foxtrot and Gavin looked a lot more comfortable in Katya’s arms. They scored two 9s and looked really pleased with their scores – as they should be. Gavin is really hit and miss- if he was always in ballroom I think he would be great – my sister loves him so I guess he’s ok…

And finally Kara and Artem danced to the Moulin Rouge version of “Roxanne”. Wow – she really does look like a professional doesn’t she? I don’t understand why they didn’t get 4 tens (they got 2 tens).

Maybe I do understand – Pamela and James really make you feel everything, they really brought a tear to my eye as well as being technically superb. Kara and Artem were technically superb and they did make me feel but not in the same way. Not deep down!

    Just watched tonights Strictly, Friday 10th, and they were very hard on Matt. Len said that Matt has always had a high standard – if that is the case, how come the judges have ALWAYS been harsh on him, and not scored him the same as Scott. I don’t think Kara or Matt have received the scores that they deserve. The judges seem to score Scott and Pamela higher than those two. Very unfair, if you consider the content of the dances of Matt and Kara

    I feel gutted for Matt and Aliona. the judges are far too hard on him. He’s one of the best dancers they have ever had on strictly-take it from me, i was a dancer! the choreography he has tackled over the past few weeks has been really hard and very entertaining to watch. cannot understand why they keep sucking up to Pamela and Scott-seems very unfair to me. Kara and Matt are definitely the front runners for me!

    Poor Matt what do these judges want, he as been the best
    throughout this series, tonight he was so obviously upset,
    come on Matt show them again tomorrow we are all behind you

    Why do the judges drool over pamela james .Matts was a far better dance but he didnt get full marks it makes you think its a fix.

    I agree. I’m fed up of them praising Pamela when she clod hops around the dance floor. I reckon they are just trying to prove they are not ageist. Kara and Artem to win!

    Matt is totally undermarked for everything he does. In the viennese waltz Kara’s head was not tilted far enough and she slipped today but the judges did not notice. The judges hate Matt and want to see him out – there was nothing wrong with his samba or his tango which he should have got 40/40 for but the Judge prefer Kara – this is totally wrong. Vote for Matt
