There are plans to shake up Strictly Come Dancing this year, according to BBC bosses.
Ideas in the pipeline for series 8 are bigger live audiences and fewer contestants.
Head judge Len Goodman said: “Having 16 couples was too much. The BBC is right to tweak it. It’s like a plant – it needs to be pruned occasionally.”
Bruce Forsyth will only sign up this year if he is happy with the changes. His agent Jan Kennedy said: “We need to make sure if there are changes, they are not too great. It is important to him that the show is right, that it keeps getting better.”
I have to agree that the format was out last year and there were too many boring celebs with no personality. I’m all for a shake-up!
