Keeep dancing!

Ann and Anton are out of Strictly Come Dancing! Good result!

Shock – Scott and Natalie also in the bottom two!

  • Robyn

Thanks for the results! I hate how we have to wait until the fake Sunday show!

Good result – Scott won;t be happy though! NAtalie’s naked dance didn;t work.

  • Don

Good result although I really didn’t expect it to be honest.

Glad Pamela, Kara and Matt got through.

    Thanks for posting!

  • Lynnebee

Great result…. at last!!!! Was hoping her arrogance at expecting to be voted through would eventually get her voted off!!!!!! Groovy baby!
Shocked Scott in bottom, though Gavin did dance a bit better this evening.
Loved the Austin Powers number, great fun. :-)

  • Natalie Graham

    WOOOHOOOHOOO!!!!!

Sorry about Scott and Natalie though.

  • A

Annoyed Ann is out, she was so funny…if they can dance fantastically it’s just boring…it’s supposed to be an entertainment show…obviously in the end a good dancer will win but I was hoping she could get one more week for the lols…but meh :D

I am so happy Scott was in the bottom two. I hate Natalie Lowe so much, she is so in love with herself… And the judges seem to mark them on how much Scott takes his clothes off than the dances <_<

    Pamela or Matt to win!

    • Jaclyn

Natalie is not in love with herself, she sells herself, big difference. Seriously, what makes these dancers professionals is understanding their craft and ability to squeeze every ounce from their bodies in order to dance out of their shoes.
Natalie is as good as any at it, these people dance, it’s what they do – how can you hate someone you do not know? Insanity.

      • YBB

its called being a professional dancer!! clearly something that A will never understand…… well she does like AW so thats says alot of who A is… its a DANCE COMPETITION…… and a serious one at that…. I adore Scott and Natalie I think they make a fantastic team now that AW is out perhaps we can now enjoy the rest of the show without all the twittering from AW but hopefully they will match Anton up with someone serious next year cos he is a great dancer and needs a serious competitor

    • DancerMyself.

The key is in the name, Strictly Come DANCING. It is a dancing show, it maybe about the entertainment, but watching someone walk around who doesn’t even look like they’re enjoying it is frustrating and pointless. I’m so glad Ann has gone, she has been so cocky throughout and should have gone weeks ago. Jimi shouldn’t have gone and even Goldie didn’t deserve to leave before Ann. The judges have tolerated her for so long, Craig is the only one has spoken the truth every week. However, last night I agreed with all the comments about Ann. So glad she has gone, Gavin to go next week though!!

  • Lottie

I thought that Ann was getting a bit too sure of herself and glad she’s gone. All the others put hard work and improved over the weeks but I felt she thought she was above that. It’s Strictly Come Dancing not Strictly I Will Do As I Want.

  • http://www.burgundyxp.com Steve Taylor

I’m glad that we finally shot the stalking horse. Ann should have gone weeks ago. Now we’re down to the real deals. Matt and Aliona to win. Goooo-arn!!

    • Alimal

Apart from Gavin of course Steve, although he has improved he is nowhere near as good as the rest ……

  • Alimal

Only found this site today & so glad I did !

I’m surprised Ann is out, but happy – Anton is now a few pounds out of pocket paying for all those votes ;o)

After Gavin goes out, I really won’t mind who wins as they are all good dancers.

  • B

Yes!! So pleased. She was fun to watch but really want the top 4 to go through to semis (Matt, Pamela, Tara & Scott). Was quite worried about the result this week. Sorry to see Scott in bottom 2.
No favourites amongst top 4 – all make super dancers!

  • Jaclyn

I am pleased that the dancers were through tonight. I love Anton to bits and I adored Widdy’s spirit and her willingness to send herself up.

She is a politician, used to asking for votes – there was no shame in her being in the contest, since as she has rightly pointed out in the past, if it was simply a dance competition, then they would not ask people like her to participate.
My favourite is Pamela, what a revelation that lady is and a lesson to us all – don’t ever think you’re too old for anything.

    • Cherry

Widdi wasn’t sending herself up. She is a deluded woman and has no realisation of what a disgrace she is. She thought she was being entertaining, funny and on occassions referred to her performances as ‘dancing’. She was not entertaining, nor funny and couldn’t dance.

Pamela Stephenson is only 2 years younger than Widdi – Widdi should be ashamed of herself.

      • Jaclyn

Utter nonsense – if you had any working knowledge of Ann W you would know she has an incredible intellect and the ability to do whatever is necessary to attain her goals. If you had ever met Ann W you would not ever describe her as deluded!!!

    • Meme

If it had gone on much longer i would have to report Anton for elder abuse.

    • http://strictly Barbra

I agree with you she is a good inspiration for all woman around her age . thanks BBC for chosing her and hope she wins for the sake of us older women

  • Sambakini

So Glad to see Strictly’s floor polisher get the boot along with its operator Tony .
    Also ,Scott is over-rated.
Good at Ballroom and Jive but, his Latin is lame !
    Matt or Kara to win.

    • cleetie

I agree with you but why oh why do the judges give matt fab remarks but the marks do not match, it is for this reason that I think he will go before scott- will just have to keep dialling

  • Scotty

I am delighted to see that the Widdy has finally hit the iceberg.

I really think that Matt got undermarked. His whole-body Austin Powers impression was stunning, incorporating all kinds of moves from the films, and all whilst still dancing so well. It seemed to pass Len by – since his main criticism was essentially something that stemmed from Matt dancing in character. Not to take anything away from Pam’s lovely waltz – but it gave the briefest of nods to their film.

    • ha\ydancer

Pamela and James were supposed to be dancing a Viennese Waltz not a Waltz. Len criticises everyone for wasting time in the intro, there was a lot od time spent posturing and her next disappeared and she fumbled 40 ?

    • Fanny

I fully agree. Matt has been undermarked throughout the series. I’m a great fan. He has the best attitude and works SO hard. I hope he goes for it now and wins!!

  • Bea

First time i’ve commented on the show or seen results early ,
Only hope they are right as AW has beeen irritating me for weeks .It was ok at first for her to have fun,and good for to look pretty .However she became really arrogant about wanting to be in the final when all the others ,bar Gavin who is also pretty hopeless and still vain, have been just grateful to have got through.
I really hope she doesn’t appear all over the place now on talk shows i for one have had enough of widdy

  • ha\ydancer

    Delighted with the result.

Don’t like this years over americanised format at all.

Feed up with being fed the watered down version of what Ballroon Dancing is about, Charlesston should be out, and the Rumba (none of the celebrities are any good at it).

This is prime time viewing Make it worth watching and stop indulging Brucie by making the results show on a Sunday so he can get home to watch Match of the Day, what a cop out.

I think the judges are doing alright, and wish people would stop complaining about Alesha, she has something to input that the others dont and that includes the public who complain about her – SHE HAS DONE THE SHOW – she knows what its about more than most.

I would love for the BBC to bring the show back closer to its original format, it was much more entertaining and exciting, the costumes were nicer and the dancing had less time wasting and acrobatics, NO PROPS, NO THEMES, please please please please please bring back the Strictly that we all loved

    • http://strictly Barbra

I think it is a uper format clothes are lovely I would like to owe one of these dresses but unfournatly I am more or AW sizes

  • Patrizia Pitt

I think Pamela is over rated. I dont think it’s fair on Matt or Kara as they are excellent dancers. The judges last night were not fair with their votes I think, as they gave four 10 to Pamela who in my opinion is good but her dances are a lot easier.

    • Anthony

I agree; Pamela is very over rated; her waltz was very competent but very unambitious compared with Matt, Scott and Kara.
How the judges could give them less than her is amazing; hope they wake up from now on.

  • Ellie

Finally a result worth watching! What have the judges got against Matt & Kara???? They were brilliant last night, dancing technically more difficult dances yet still the love affair with Pamela continues….. Yes she was elegant, beautiful etc but really how can she score perfect 10′s and Matt & Kara not??? Think its a total fix!

  • Alan Falconer

Delighted that the Ann/Anton shambles has been sent packing at long last. Gavin is now very much the weakest link. If he goes next we have the best possible final to look forward to.

  • scd_lover_2010

soo happy ann’s gone (hope it’s right)! also really happy that the public aren’t too fond of the judges’ poor wickle dickle favourited scott. The judges are being really harsh on matt and kara (especially matt); seems to be anoyind aliona…

MATT TO WIN (and to get a decent score from the judges)

    Properly happy about the result!!!

  • Lottie

I am so glad I am not the only that thinks it’s a Scott & Pamela lovefest with the judges while Kara & Matt come out every week do fantastic and complicated dances then get lower marks. Last week when Scott forgot his steps he got 2 nines yet Matt got marked down for looking tense, makes no sense to me.

  • stephanie hughes

ithink kara and artem deserve to win ,they are the best by far, but the judges especially len seem to have a downer on her,she did not deserve the 6 he gave her last week, its all a fix they keep bulling scott up,and he,s know where near as good as cara, stephanie stoke.

  • http://www.strictlycomedancing.tv Lyn

I do hope it’s true and someone isn’t playing a cruel joke!! I can’t wait to see Her Arrogance’s face. Gavin to go next and then let the real show begin.

  • Strictlydancefan

how do we know these results are correct?

    • http://www.strictlycomedancing.tv Alex

Hi Dance fan – they come from the same source every week on the Digital Spy forums!

      :)

  • Barbara

How I hope this is true, we have had to put up with this farce for too long!

  • Erin

    About time :D :D :D

Now all we need is for the judges to get some consistency in the marking – how can Len give both Kara and Gavin 9′s when there is such difference in the quality of the dance???

Sick of them overmarking the mediocre Scott and Pamela while trying to give Kara and Matt the lowest marks they can get away with :(

No way was Pamela anywhere near Kara last night (or a 40 for that matter)

WHAT DO KARA AND MATT HAVE TO DO TO GET THE MARKS THEY DESERVE????????

    • http://www.strictlycomedancing.tv Alex

I know what you mean – I absolutely love Pamela and James but I was really shocked at Kara not getting 4 tens!

      • Ian

I agree that she should have got some 10′s but not 4 !! If that was the case then so should Kara have got 4 10′s ??

I have changed my “favourite” from Matt to Kara as she has stepped up a gear and is still improving !!

That is what Strictly is all about !!??

Thank good ness the panto has GONE !!

  • Diane

Kara and Artem are the best ever. I have trouble remembering which of them is the pro. I adore Pamela and also Matt. They should be the final 3. Taxi for Mr Henson.

    • liz

Kara and Artem are by far the best to watch- hope that they win.

  • Estelle

Pamela very good but overmarked on Saturday 4th December if she got 40 Kara should have at least 50 because she had far more content and difficulty in her dancewas.

  • Helen (NL)

We’ve had to watch this farce for too long. Glad it’s over now!
Let the real contest begin !

  • Ronan

Am glad that Ann and Anton are gone but too be honest Kara leaves me feeling cold . I can see that she’s an excellent dancer but I so hope Matt pamela or Scott win . If Kara wins I for one will stop watching as I suspect she has had dancing experience before .

  • Lesley

I think that the judges have marked up to try to ensure that the fab four stay in to try to counter the bizarre public vote for Widdy. But maybe we will get some honest marking from them now – I could see loads of mistakes by Scott last week and think that Aleysha and Bruno marked him up to make sure he stayed in. I agree they seem to have a downer on Matt who I think, together with Kara, are the best two. Although Gavin did improve this week, I do not think he is in the same league as the others – whilst I think Pamela is good, I didn’t think she warranted a 40!

  • Andrew

am glad she went before a really decent dancer went out over her. I was however angry that Alisha said she was bored of her now. Who does she think she is? I am bored of her, she needs to go and concentrate on her “music”

  • Don Gilham

Thank goodness sense has prevailed at last !!!

Full marks to Ms Widdecombe though, she certainly knows how to play to an audience (well she would she’s a politician !)

BUT – praise for Anton, what a brilliant choreographer !!

  • Neil

Would certainly have been unfair to the other couples if A&A weren’t going at this stage…………IMHO anyway.

  • alex

its about time anne went its about real dancing and not comedy but they did entertain us but that was it

  • Cimba

I’m glad for Anne and Anton’s sake that she doesn’t have to work on more than 1 dance per week, but the hypocritical marking of some judges – giving dancers who forget the routine incredible scores, to make sure they stay in was IMHO less acceptable than the public voting for an entertaining act. The BEST choreographer this series is definitely Anton, and how lovely to see him dancing with a real dancer in the program tonight.

  • Cimba

Although their comedy partnership has been a highlight of this series, I’m glad for Anne and Anton that they were voted off this week. It was too much to expect them to do more than one dance in a session. Perhaps now we’ll see less of the hypocritical marking by some judges, who gave incredible marks to dancers who forgot their routines, just to keep them in. As for Alisha – what does she know?
The best choreographer/dancer this series has definitely been Anton, and how lovely to see him dancing with Erin tonight – sheer bliss.

  • Cheryl

Ronan, you are right about Kara, she actually won Strictly for Sport Relief.

As for the judges thinking the public got it right as usual, how come Chris Hollins won and Rachel Stevens didn’t?

The word ‘fix’ springs to mind.

  • sally…..

Please stop voting for GAVIN ……

    • Angela

Couldn’t agree more – overgrown school boy!

  • Karen

I agree that it was time for Ann to go but was it really necessary for Bruno to be so very rude to her?

I wish people would stop moaning about Craig when he is the only one who marks consistantly and whose 10 actually means something.

I also think that Matt is consistantly undermarked but then the judges have their favourites every year and this time it is Scott. What a mockery his scores were last week when he forgot half his routine; even he said he didn’t think he deserved 9′s.

  • Philip

I really liked the presenter with the mini mouse white shoes. Really clunky

  • Pat

So glad AW has finally gone ! Next year the program makers need to sort out whether Strictly is a dancing competition or an entertainment show that just happens to have people learning to dance. AW dictated just what she would wear and dance, everything on her terms – just like a polititian – and the British public stupidly went along with her. As a lady of a certain age myself I suggest if she is going to do anything like Strictly again then she should get stronger undergarments.!

  • http://strictlycomedancing wonderbeecharme

thank goodness Ann has gone …. at last the people training hard , have a chance . And the ones left are all so good.

  • http://strictlycomedancing wonderbeecharme

    I agree.

  • http://strictlycomedancing rhythmisadancer

So glad Widdecome’s gone!!! About widdy time too! It was become farcical…a few amusing weeks was enough, but when better dancers went just for the sake of her staying in, the whole thing became a joke. If she’d got through this and next week to the final…well…I’ll think the whole world’s gone mad. Then I’d have to agree with an earlier post which said the Beeb had to decide if this was a dancing competition or an entertainment only show! Also agree with all the above about Kara and Artem’s performances as being undermarked compared to Pamela’s. Hers was beautiful and competent, but not as exciting or difficult as Kara’s. She is truly fantastic at this and I hope she wins as she is clearly a natural at this event. Kara to win and thereby the Beeb will have honoured the true meaning of this show.

  • Lucy

I am glad ann is out but i seriouslt love anton and am gutted for him :L poor guy he got another unable dancer. AGAIN…

  • Sue

Does the BBC publish the number of phone votes each couple get?, I wonder. I tried to cast my vote for two couples the entire time the lines were open, but I was unable to get through. Great! Maximum viewers’ votes for my favourites! But this set me thinking. If each of the remaining couples get the maximum phone votes that can be taken in the 35 minutes that the lines are open (which I don’t think is an unrealistic statement, given the nation’s support of the contestants), then the judges’ scores will determin who goes out. Interesting!

    • Ian

      Agree Sue !!

I think it was a fix and everybody wasted thier time (and money) in voting …..

It is absolutely impossible for AW to have come at the bottom of the leaderboard and then not be eliminated for so many weeks.

  • Angela

Anyone know where they list the music for the dances?

Choosing what to see isn’t necessarily the hardest part oCoach OutletTwizzSometimes the bigger question is, where do you sit? There’s a reason that people sit in the middle, I’m just Chanel Handbagsnot sure what it is.Over on his blog at the Chicago Sun Times, film critic Roger Ebert is discussing Coach Outletwhere people sit in the theater.
