Strictly Spooky Saturday approaches!

A Halloween Strictly Come Dancing awaits us tomorrow and we have the coupels dancing four different dances.

The remaining 11 couples will dance a Jive, Viennese Waltz, Paso Doble or an Argentine Tango! So much to look forward to!

As always there’s been a bit of drama this week as Michelle Williams injured her ankle during energetic jive training but she WILL be dancing on Saturday!

Also in jive training is Pamela and James – will she be able to pull it off – the training looks good!

The final couple who will be Jiving are Patsy and Robin. Again their training looks good but she needs to start thinking positively – she’s always so down on herself on the show.

Dancing the twirly Viennese Waltz are Felicity and Vincent. Felicity (bendicity) will be performing her “trademark” move – the splits during her routine. This is at the insistence of Vincent. Let’s all take up yoga immediately.

Also dancing the Viennese Waltz are Scotttttt and Natalie – who says she wants a “pefect” routine from Scottttt this week even though he has had the flu “I might be sick”. Well that’ll be worth watching then!

Dancing the Paso Doble (not one of my faves) are Kara and Artem, Ann and Anton and Jimi and Flavia and Gavin and Katya.

Artem has been training Kara hard this week and they’ve had a few squabbles but will it get results – I think so!

Now then Ann and Anton – Ann is feeling really positive about the dance. On It Takes Two she said she had a sneaky suspicion it might go OK – will she be riding onto the dance floor on a bull? Watch this space.

Jimi and Flavia need a good routine this week as they are in danger of not standing out – he doesn’t seem to have improved much over the weeks so I’ll be looking for a marked improvement!

I really want Gavin to do well this week – come on lad just stop messing about and give us some passion for crying out loud!!

Last up is the Argentine Tango – a dance usually saved for the semi-final as it is a tough one.

How will Tina and Jared do? I’m really glad they got this dance as I think the little girl and little boy routine is getting a bit boring and we need to see a sexier side to both of them. Their training looks great so I’m really looking forward to their dance.

Finally Matt Baker and Aliona – he says that we’re going to see a different side of him when he dances the Argentine Tango tomorrow – a very sexy side methinks. I know a few people who have been surprised by his sexiness since he started dancing….

Tune in tomorrow at 6.25pm on BBC1!

Keeeeep dancing!

It’s funny, I had a dream the other night that Ann Widdecombe was on Strictly and the judges were giving her a phenomenally high score – then I realised it was the German Version of the show:-

    “Nein! Nein!! Nein!!!”

What a pity that Gavin just can’t relax. He has spent too many of his formative years alone and admiring himself but he seems such a lovely chap really.

Hi I see we are keeping the funny act again last year they nearly voted the jesters to win .Let the real dancers stay in not a fun act , why is the public doing this again. It is turning into a farce again. This is called strictly come dancing not fun dancing. So why is ann still their instead of the ones that can dance take her out and lets see who stays in then.

Well if they don’t want ‘funny ones’ in again why on earth ask them to participate. Every year we have the same wingeing and yet people who are obviously not ‘dancing material’ are asked to dance. Why bother? Let’s just cob out the judges, cob out the ‘celebrities’ and just have the ‘professionals. Then perhaps we wouldn’t have this moaning every year. But we would all be pretty bored and the ratings would plummet to a record low.

I have watched ever series of the show but each year i think they have gone for more of a “entertainment” show instead of a dance compertion. Yes i agree watching Aton through Ann about like a rang doll is quite funny but come on people this is a dance compertion and i think we should start voting correctly and get Ann off before any of the really good goes out…!! :-)

this show is fast becoming as big a farce as the ex factor.I do however blame the people who pick the contestants, who know full well that some of them are not up to it. I do feel sorry for the ones that actually try but certainly not for people who have do not have the physical shape or stamina to do it. they are just there for the money and exposure.
