For people who haven’t heard of recording devices or Sky + (aka the best thing on the planet), you’ll be happy to hear that BBC and ITV have come to an scheduling agreement over Strictly and The X Factor.
Next Saturday is the big Strictly reveal show at 6:45pm on BBC1 and The X Factor has been scheduled for 7:45pm; we wouldn’t want to mis Chezza coming down with Malaria now would we!?
It is reported by The Mirror that for the first month of the show there will be little or no overlap in the schedule.
A BBC insider said: “We started the negotiations and they were with ITV and not Simon Cowell, although he should be happy with the result. At the end of the chat between Jay and Peter, there was no longer an issue regarding Saturday nights.”
