Tina O’Brien has chicken pox and will not be performing on Strictly Come Daincing tomorrow!

Poor Tina O’Brien has got the chicken pox and will not be performing on Strictly Come Dancing this Saturday.

The rules of Strictly allow her to be automatically put through to next week’s show; but if she is still unwell the following Saturday then she will have to leave the show! Noooo! We love you Tina get well very soon!

I think her and Jared’s rhumba could have been fantastic and a break-through week for them.

Tina said:
“Jared and I have spent so much time and effort on a really fantastic routine and I just couldn’t wait to perform it.

‘Hopefully I will bounce back quickly and be on top dancing form soon, ready to come back straight into the next routine.  I will be watching them all this weekend.’

She wrote on Twitter: ‘So poorly, spots everywhere.  Up my nose, mouth etc, just gonna rest up and recover quickly! Chicken pox. Arghhh Itch itch itch.’

    I had chicken pox when I was 21. I had it all in my hair.

    Sorry to hear Tina has the dreaded spots.. My son had it aged 17 covered from head to toe.. May I recommend bathing with a touch of permangamate of potash in water and using Caladril to ease the itch.. My sons spots went within three days.. Good Luck Tina.. missed you this week..
