    She was absolutely awful. The only thing that kept her in until now was Brendan. How was she ever in the a top girl band? She cannot move.

    SO PLEASED FELICITY AND VINCENT ARE SAVED, HOWEVER I THINK IT IS NOW ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BECAUSE, AS MUCH AS I REALLY LIKE HER AND WANTED HER TO SHINE AND ALTHOUGH I THINK SHE IS VERY GOOD SHE DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE IMPROVED OVER THE WEEKS….. I DON’T LIKE “SMUG PAM” AT ALL. APPEARS TO BE THE JUDGES FAVORITE,SO IS PATSY BUT I DO LIKE HER A LOT.

    Anne has to go. The BBC are using her for cheap television. What is wrong with the British Public – is this a dance competition or have I missed something? Let’s revert to the judge’s decision. Hopefully someone will see sense in the next couple of weeks or Anne Widdecombe will have the dignity to retire and let the real dancers carry on.

    In my opinion the show is a farce. Why do we have judges?
    How can you allow the public vote out a good dancer and keep a very bad one.

    Despite knowing this the announcers agree with the public although they know that the result is grossly incorrect.

    What is allowed to happen is wrong and should not be allowed to happen.

    Get rid of the judges and let the public decide or vice versa you can’t have both.

    It makes a mockery of the whole situation

    just leave Ann Widecombe alone she is doing something that the majority of us wouldn’t even attempt. so don’t be cheap
    and encourage her.

      Most of us would have more integrity and dignity….she is not even funny…must be pity votes.

      She is making a fool of herself and every other contestant. This is a dancing competition not a circus show

    I agree with the comment that the viewers’ phoned-in votes don’t seem to take into account the technical criteria of the judges. Is this a dance competition or not?
    I used to do ballroom so I realise how difficult it is- but Ann really should go soon or retire like John Sargent.

    Shame that Michelle has gone- but the Latin dance this week wasn’t her thing. I also don’t like Pamela – I agree she’s a bit smug. Kara Tointon and Matt look like professional dancers so my money’s on them. Hope Ann is out soon because it’s looking pantomine-dameish and comic at the moment.

    I have always been an avid fan of ‘Strictly’ until Ann Widdecombe was entered into the competition and survived the first week. If left to the public vote it will always be open to ridicule as in previous years and other programs which require the public to vote. Voting for the outrageously bad person or persons just to make a mockery of the program will always be an option and the longer it is alowed to go on the more people will vote for the ‘outragious’ until the actual winner will in fact be the worst performer.

    In order to avoid the eye sore (Ann), and I was glad she in last, I looked at BBC Entertainment where previous Strictly Come Dancing semi-finale (with Bruce dancing AND SINGING!) and that was very enjoyable, and prevented me from being so disgusted and sick at the sight of her being pathologically gross on that show.

    If this silliness is still on next week, I suggest you zapp on BBC Entertainment when she is announced, as I am sure the public’s bad taste will still want that on the show !

  • Fed up and thought it was a dance competition!

    I have always loved Strictly-but why in recent years have we needed a “joke” contestant e.g Seargent and Widdecombe-too old/too fat and not enough memory to remember what they had for breakfast never mind a dance routine. I am sick and tired of the training footage where she tells Anton what she will and won’t do. Its a dance competition DAHLING!!!! and he is the Proffessional. Enough is enough if the viewers who vote for her and the BBC who were stupid enough to ask her to do it don’t get a grip I for one will watch it no more.Good God even Mr Rugby Player looks like Fred Astaire next to her. GO ANN GO!!

    LET THE BBC SET UP A NEW PROGRAMME CALLED “COMEDY WORST CELEBRITY DANCING “FOR ALL THOSE WHO VOTE FOR THE LIKES OF ANN WIDDECOMBE AND LET THEM VOTE FOR THEIR FAVOURITE! THEN THE MAJORITY OF THE PUBLIC CAN GO BACK TO ENJOYING THE HARD WORK PUT IN BY THE CELEBS WHO WORK HARD FOR HOURS EVERY WEEK AND COME OUT LOOKING GORGEOUS TRYING TO IMPROVE EVERY WEEK. GO BACK TO THE JUDGES DOING THE MARKING AND THE DANCE OFF.tHERE IS NOTHING IN THE TELEPHONE VOTING FOR CHARITY, SO LET THE PROFESSIONALS DO WHAT THEY ARE PAID TO DO OR THE BBC IS GOING TO LOSE ALL WHO ENJOYED SCD FOR ITS QUALITY!
