Strictly Come Dancing results nancy and rory

In a somewhat surprising results show, Rory Bremner and Erin Boag were booted off Strictly Come Dancing after a disappointing cha cha cha last night. Nancy Doolalio survived again!

I really don’t think he deserved to go but the public wants what the public wants. It seems people want the entertainment of Nancy and Lulu over lovely and (in my opinion) talented Rory. He was so good at ballroom I think it’s bad luck he went out on a cha cha.

How the heck did Lulu get through I just don’t get her!

Reflecting back on his highlight of being part of Strictly, Rory stated “Well a close second was shimmying next to John Prescott in the Quickstep, I loved that – it was just the best dance of my life. Thank you [Erin] for choreographing it, and thank you for dancing with me”.

And Erin added, “You’ve been completely and utterly wonderful – you’ve been so wonderful, and I want you to hold your head high, because you’ve done great”.

The gorgeous Flavia and Vincent performed on the results show with an Argentine Tango – I mean we could just watch them all night couldn’t we?! Blimey they are amazing!

Next week is a Halloween special – but I’ll be out celebrating my husband’s 30th birthday avec curry!

    Grrr I’m not happy with this result – Lulu should be gone in my opinion!

      Really unhappy about this result when not only was Rory a far better dancer than Nancy, but he was humble and in awe of his great teacher, unlike Nancy who cannot dance at all but thinks she knows better! Aagh!

       It is rigged for Lulu to win it! The pairing of her with a much taller dancer – the first awful dance & low score – now the ‘ oh such an improvement wow!!’ the endless interviews   -  getting sympathy from the public, and as for her memory loss,( Derren Brown has told everyone on twitter that it is a lie as he has never met her ) have you ever heard her on QVC selling her creams, she doesn’t stop talking, never forgets her pitch!!
      Haven’t heard of her for years now she’s all over the press. 

      Saw her & Bruno on the Barry Manilow show together – isn’t her friend Bruno the one who gives the all important points to her?
      Not fair at all to the others who have worked so hard and not had the benefit of lulu who is rigged to win it!

    Totally ridiculous – this is a dancing competiton.  Why have you stopped the dance off and the judges making the correct decision – this ruins the whole show – I am so mad!!!!!

      People vote for the ‘crapper’ dancers for entertainment value. As Len said, it’s Britain’s “favourite dancer”, not best dancer.

      I’m furious too, blame the moronic voters!

    Furious that Rory has gone. Loved him and he so clearly loved dancing.
     Bring back the dance off. Why did that disappear? Brought a much needed element of tension – but also fairness - to the competition.

    How sad is todays vote!!!! Rory has done a brilliant job AND he could dance!  Unlike Nancy who looks like a wooden top half the time and a rag doll the rest – its really disappointing and I feel so unhappy with this that I am considering not viewing it anymore cos it doesnt seem fair that perhaps a vote or two would make the difference.   Bring back the dance off. 

    And RORY hold your head very high you were brilliant

      Why not have the Judges vote on Saturday decide a bottom 3 which the public then vote on.

    Poor Anton – I am afraid the sadistic public will keep Nancy in because her “dancing” is so hyserically comical.  But Rory was in no way the worst dancer.

    Absolutely gutted that rory has gone. I was really looking forward to some excellent ballroom from rory in future weeks. He did’t deserve to go. Very frustrating.

    What ever happened to the dance off. Nancy would have been out last week if it was left to the judges. Rory looked so upset.

      You are right, where has the dance off gone. Rory was far far better than Nancy. I think people just want to see Nancy make a mess of it.

      Nancy is sexy and very attractive – she and partner are very entertaining and people who critise her are just jealous of her.

        I think people are voting for Anton, not Nancy. Even Ann Widdicombe said she would be voting for Anton in spite of the fact that Nancy is useless.

      But I can’t stand Nancy. She’s trying to be a diva but’s gone OTT, from training vids I think Anton’s annoyed with her (but can’t show it!) and I bet the costume + prop departments h8 her!

    this is a travesty – who is voting for Nancy – they need to grow up.  Nancy cannot dance and is not even entertaining.  If the judges had the final say then Nancy would have been long gone, deservedly so. I just beg the public to stop voting for Nancy so that we do not have to suffer her any more.

    for another week nancy has got through by the skin of her teeth. i really think that the voting is rigged. and our pensioner group is making a complaint and asking for our license money back

    I’m really disappointed to see Rory go (as I was to see Dan go last week) as he was improving every week and can dance. The judges comments this week were awful and unnecessary, if they are constructive fair enough but there’s no need to be derogatory.If this continues I will not be watching the show. BBC you need to make the voting system clear and transparent it is beginning to feel “engineered”, someone who can’t dance staying in so that we can say how awful they are?
     Rory you were brilliant, seeing you improve week by week was a joy, sharing your learning style was inspirational and your “journey” was what the show should be about,I for one will miss you greatly

    Yes, Nancy can’t dance and I’m afraid she isn’t even entertaining, can’t understand why she’s still there?. Liked Dan better than Russell who is giving it a go but I can’t stand watching him.  What a pity Rory had to go :(   I missed last night and can’t get it on I-player either :( ……..

    I agree with the comments below.  We have had John Sargeant and Anne Widecombe being kept in the competition far too long at the expense of other celebrities who tried harder and danced better.  And now the show’s producers are sacrificing celebrities for an Italian airhead who can’t string a comprehendable sentence together let alone a dance of any quality at all.  SHOW US THE PUBLIC VOTES so that we know the views of the people wasting their money on voting are really being taken into account.

    Last year the JUDGES had the final say on the two couples with lowest scores, in my opinion the BBC should have kept to this system, as I think the result of ERIN and KATYA being voted off by the general public is appalling, nasty and fucking disgrace.

      it’s a TV show, an entertainment programme. all the stars appearing in it and all the dancers are paid hansomely for their appearance, no one gets hurt, so why are you getting so upset and swearing on the forum? I absolutely LOVE strictly and watch dancing with the stars too, and am shocked that all the `bad` dncers get voted in and good ones like Dan and Rory leave, but they have been paid, regardless of when they get put out. I agree that the judges should go back to voting the final 2 after dance off, might make it a bit fairer.

    I am sorry for the idiots who vote for stupidity rather than the tallent of people who don’t normally dance. Let the judges have the final say. That woman Delolio is useless and even Edwina should not have been voted off in the first round againt this Italian. She is only interested in herself and her so called looks.  Let’s get this a dancing contest again not the X factor and who is the most stupid show!!!

    noboday wants nancy to stay in because SHE CANNOT DANCE. Judges should have the vote or public vote for who they want to leave, that way good dancers will not leave each week

    Nancy has had so much publicity in the papers and on the tele her PR company must be really pleased with themselves its certainly not her dancing thats getting her the votes hope she goes next week

    Can someone please tell me why we have to wait until Sunday for the results when it is perfectly obvious (the audience is even the same) that it is recorded straight after the show on Saturday. Maybe it is so we have to suffer those two women introducing it.

    I agree that Nancy should have gone and that people must be voting for Anton but they arn’t doing him any favours.  I really think that the look on his face when he realised he had to stand another week trying to teach Nancy to dance said it all.  Please can someone tell me why the judges are being so nice to Lulu she is nearly as bad as Nancy, has no timing and wobbles all over the place.  Are they frightened to critise her?

    WHEN, O WHEN IS NANCY COMING OFF!!! Terrible attitude, terrible “dancer”. It seems every year there are a few duds who slip through the cracks for no better reason than they are “loved” (as Russell Grant!).   I “like” him…… but come on!!!

    The most annoying thing about this programme (apart from Nancy!) is the appalling music they chose.  I have danced all my life (ballroom and latin + alot of salsa) and I get so angry at the dancers trying to dance to the wrong tempo.  They try and dance a salsa to a samba, a cha cha to a jive!  etc. No wonder the celebs struggle to keep time and get their steps right.
    Who selects the tunes – is it the professional dancers?  What is wrong with dancing to some of the proper dance music  – something in the right tempo would help..Why do they think they have to dance to “pop” tunes which were never intended to be used for this type of dancing?
    Come on professionals – chose something good to dance to.
     Notice that Vincent and Flavia danced their amazing Argentine Tango  TO A TRADITIONAL TANGO TUNE!! It looked so good and everyone knew they were dancing a tango.

    The standard of Strictly Come Dancing has definately took a nose dive – as ballroom dancers we used to get people coming and asking to be shown how to dance.  The last 2 or 3 years the standard has dropped – there is to much americanism show dance routines and not enough dance content – get rid of the props, dress appropriately and for goodness sake bring back Arlene or in her place Karen Harding on the panel of judges.  Aleisha is a lovely girl but not qualified to judge dancing.  We used to love the show, but my husband now refuses to watch it after the “Halloween debacle”.  It is unacceptable that the girls dresses fall apart yet AGAIN.  Lrts have less comedy and more dancing to good dancing music especially tango, paso, and samba to help the celebraties keep to time.  The only judge who is usually right is Craig, Len is definately letting his standard slip.  Come on Strictly get a grip go back to what made the show so popular in the first place.  You don’t need gimmicks.

    I am sometimes disgusted at the bad remarks made by Mr Goodman both in this program and the American version of it.  Perhaps its time for him to leave the show as his views are cranky and boring.  Can we vote him off !!!

    I’m pleased Nancy was voted off she was rubbish and a drama queen. Also can we please get Anton a decent dancer for the next series, he always get the rubbish and he deserves better, also I agree lets bring back the dance off. I love strictly but feel at the moment its getting too silly and a bit boring.

    well i love strickly, and best of all i love brendon cole, he is wonderful, all my family love him, not as much as me tho.all i can say about lulu dont know why she was there in the first place.you are better without her brendon, lets hope next time you get some one who is not above their station. i just hope you win one time. from all your fans in plymouth and stratford upon avon jacqueline legg. i hjope you get to read this brendon.
