Anita Dobson and Rentapro Brendan Cole and Robin Windsor have been voted off Strictly Come Dancing in week 9. Holly Valance and Artem Chigvintsev also found themselves in the bottom two for the second week running.

In a somewhat surprising results show, Rory Bremner and Erin Boag were booted off Strictly Come Dancing after a disappointing cha cha cha last night. Nancy Doolalio survived again!

I really don’t think he deserved to go but the public wants what the public wants. It seems people want the entertainment of Nancy and Lulu over lovely and (in my opinion) talented Rory. He was so good at ballroom I think it’s bad luck he went out on a cha cha.

How the heck did Lulu get through I just don’t get her!

The results are in; Edwina Currie and Vincent Simone are the first couple to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing series 9. I don’t think any of us can say we’re surprised after her poor foxtrot last night and her weird comments!

There was visible tension in the air as all the couples waited to see if they were safe for another week. Nancy was favourite to get the boot but she wasn’t even in the bottom two – did the knicker flashing help? Anton certainly didn’t. It was big lad Audley Harrison and Natalie Lowe who were in peril alongside Edwina and Vincent – but they were safe. Audley and Edwina both looked surprised to be in the bottom two.

To great relief to many, Ann Widdecombe and Anton du Beke have been voted off Strictly Come Dancing in quarter final week.

I seriously thought she was going to make it through to the finals for a moment; good decision all round!

Shock horror – Scott and Natalie were also in the bottom two – are his hopes of winning the glitter ball trophy fading away?

Surely it’s a straight fight between Kara, Matt and Pamela?

Felicity Kendall and her partner Vincent Simone have been voted out of Strictly Come Dancing.

Also in the bottom two for the first time were Patsy and Robin – which gives us a good indication of how the public have been voting.

Unbelievably (or perhaps believably) Ann Widdecombe and Anton du Beke were NOT in the bottom two – is she unstoppable?

Will she be releasing a dance fitness DVD for Christmas?

Viewers complained last year about the “bumper-length” Saturday night show and claimed it was too long.

A BBC insider said: “We really want to take Strictly back to a Sunday night, but we would have to do it live and that takes more money, which is pretty tight at the moment.

Ok so now that I’m forgiven (hopefully!) let’s get on with the goss; the nitty gritty..

Arlene Phillips, beloved judge and Strictly favourite has been unceremoniously dumped by the BBC…cost-cutting…ageism…x factor wannabee-ism… call it what you want but I call it complete pants-ism. I’ll stop isming now…there’s a cream for that you know?

So who shall be replacing my beloved Arlene at a cost to the taxpayer of £100 000? Alesha Dixon. Fine. I get it She won the show. She’s really nice. But she ain’t Arlene. I’ll get over it…maybe.

Will the next newcomer please come on down.. ballet legend Darcy Bussell. I get it. She’s a worldclass ballet dancer. She’s knows dance. But she ain’t Arlene.

Christine and Matthew have been voted off Strictly Come Dancing in a landslide vote by the judges. Rachel and Vincent were also in the bottom two.

Christine was probably the favourite to go tonight as she was the weakest dancer. It was a toss up as to who would be in the bottom two and unfortunately for Rachel she doesn’t seem to have the public support.

I felt really sorry for Vincent as he was crying – did anyone else notice that? What do you think he was crying about?

The competition hots up now as next week it is the Quarter Finals!

Damn damn damn. Jodie and Ian have been voted out of Strictly Come Dancing!

Lisa and Brendan were also in the bottom two again; but were saved by all judges.

I’m really sad to see Jodie go as she was one of my favourites; but I do think the right dancer went. However, I think maybe Christine and Matt should have benn in the bottom two as their dance I thought was second worst.
