Professionals on Strictly Come Dancing are nervously waiting to see if they’ll appear on the next show. A team of new producers has apparently been brought in and up to five stars could be sent packing. One Strictly insider described the cull as a ‘bloodbath’.

Breaking news: Alesha Dixon has left Strictly Come Dancing, it has been reported and the Strictly fans are going wild!

The BBC has confirmed that judge Alesha will no longer be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing,“We wish her all the best. She has done three very successful series with us and we look forward to announcing our new lineup in due course.” a spokesperson said.

Poor Alesha never had a chance after replacing the beloved Arlene Phillips amidst the BBC ageism row in 2009.

The news has put Strictly fans into overdrive as to who will replace her! Karen Hardy gets my vote; take my poll to have your say on who should be the new Strictly judge.

It’s been three days since Harry and Aliona were crowned Strictly Champions 2011 and if you’re anything like me you’ve been having Strictly sequinned withdrawal.

Harry Judd and Aliona Vilani have been crowned Strictly Come Dancing Champions 2011! Congratulations to them – a well deserved victory!

After winning the crown the McFly boys rushed the stage!

Harry said “All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that has supported Aliona and I. I have just had the most incredible experience.”

“I’ve been on the best show on TV and I am just honoured”. Damn straight it’s the best show on tv!

Jason and Kristina were first to be voted off (booo!) at the start of the 9pm show leaving Harry and Chelsee to battle it out with their final two dances.

Harry and Aliona danced the American Smooth- wow for me this was beautiful and I thought it was their best dance of the whole competition….until I saw Chelsee’s Rumba!!!

Chelsee is a worthy runner-up and I’m really sad that she couldn’t have won too! They danced a beautiful Rumba and a sharp Quickstep that were both amazing. The Rumba was absolutely amazing – I loved seeing Craig bobbing away in the background!

Harry and Aliona performed their favourite dance of the series – the Argentine Tango and it was truly amazing and so much better the second time around. He really didn’t put a foot wrong all night.

Well done Harry and Aliona Strictly Come Dancing 2011 Champions!

The Strictly Come Dancing final is well and truly underway from Blackpool tower. So far we’ve seen all three couples dance two dances.

Blackpool Tower Ballroom looks amazing and I can’t wait to see who is going to make it through to the final showdown!

Harry and Aliona opened the show with a perfect scoring Quickstep. I thought he looked nervous to start with but he really did deserve that 40! All the McFly boys were in the audience cheering him on – he will definitely get the McFly vote!

Jason and Kristina were up next with their camp Tango. I love this dance! I have really grown to love Jason over the course of this series. I love his crazy facial expressions and how much he wants to win. Kristina is also really emotional this series and I’d love to see her get through to the top two.

And finally Chelsee and Pasha danced their Shrek inspired Jive.  Again, she performed this really well but she did look a bit tired! It just didn’t look as slick as I remembered it but I do think she’ll make it through to the top two (sorry Jason!).

All three couples also performed their show dances.

Harry and Aliona started us off with a slick rock ‘n roll inspired dance. Yes it was fab but it just lacked that something special; that little spark.

Come on Jason! Ok so it wasn’t as technically good as Harry’s dance but for me this is what a showdance is all about – it got me whooping!

And finally Chelsee and Pasha. Wow she looked incredible didn’t she? Hmm  bit worried here as there seemed to be too many awkward lifts and not enough dancing.

Who will make it through?

Good morning Strictly Come Dancing fans and welcome to final day! Not long now until the show starts at 7pm – I hope you’ve got those nibbles ready and that wine chilled? Takeaway is it?

So the first show in on at 7pm where we will see all three couples dance 2 dances; judges choice of a dance from earlier in the series and their showdance . At the start of the 9pm show one couple will be eliminated (boo!) and then the final two couples will perform their last ever routines; a new dance and a favourite dance from earlier in the series.

That’s a lot of dancing.

The Strictly Come Dancing final is fast approaching and the three finalists must be sweating their socks off to win that glitterball trophy.

Harry and Aliona are the favourites to win and Jason is the favourite to get the boot first.

The final will see the couples dancing four dances; judges choice, their choice, a new dance and of course the showdance! All three couples will get to dance their showdance before one is eliminated, says the BBC.

Alex Jones and James Jordan and Holly Valance and Artem Chigvintsev have been voted off Strictly Come Dancing and miss out on the final next Saturday.

In a tense results show we saw Harry, Chelsee and Jason all get through to the grand final next Saturday! I’m very happy as those are the three celebs I wanted to go through after some stellar dancing last night.

What an amazing semi final of Strictly Come Dancing that was! There were some incredible stand out dances as well as some Turkeys (in my opinion!) and I’m still very confused by the judges this week.

First up to dance was bookies favourite Harry Judd and Aliona Vilani with the Charleston. Yes it was technically very good but is that what the Charleston is really about? He just doesn’t have the personality to really sell this dance but you can’t deny that he CAN dance really well. For me, dancing is about making you feel something – and he didn’t do that for me.

Judges scores = Craig 9 Len 10 Alesha 10 Bruno 10 = 39/40
