George Clooney has been bombarding ex-girlfriend Lisa Snowdon with texts and flowers in a bid to win her back, reports OK!.
The Hollywood star is said to have been so impressed with her skills on Strictly Come Dancing that he is now planning a trip to England to watch the BBC One show in the flesh.
A source close to Clooney said: “Prior to the show starting, George sent Lisa a ‘good luck’ text.
“It was the first time they’d had any contact for some time. Lisa was pretty amazed but assumed that would be the last of it. Instead, after the show George sent her another text which said something along the lines of ‘Wow!’.”
Clooney ended his relationship with Sarah Larlson earlier this year. He and Snowdon dated for a year from 2000, before reconciling in 2004 for 12 months.
The source added: “Lisa and Brendan are dancing the salsa this weekend and all eyes will be on them, including George’s. He has promised to send a bouquet to her dressing room and the talk backstage is he may make a surprise appearance in London in the coming weeks.
“Now that he’s single, gossip is spreading like wildfire that he wants to woo Lisa back. Obviously everyone is desperate for Lisa to stay in the competition – if only for a glimpse of George!”
