After Austin and Erin were knocked from their perch at the top of the leader board last weekend, they come into their Viennese Waltz session and attack the dance head on. Austin picks up the choreography very quickly. By the end of the session they have almost completed the entire routine, although there are a lot of spins in the choreography and Austin complains of dizziness, exclaiming that he feels seasick!
Erin’s keen for her partner to master the performance side of the dance, noting, “Austin isn’t going to have a problem with the Viennese Waltz – I’m more nervous that he won’t be able to act it out… he laughs and he has a cheeky face!”
She wants to show the public and the judges the Leicester Lip’s gentle, caring nature. Austin agrees that he needs to show his more fatherly, loving side at the top of the routine. He mentions how difficult he found the Samba last week, and adds that he has much higher expectations of the Viennese Waltz.
He’s feeling confident though, and says that he wants this dance to be his best ever. Erin’s confident too – she believes Austin’s Ballroom has the potential to be “a thing of beauty” and this week, she wants their routine to draw tears from everyone’s eyes!
