Last night’s Strictly Come Dancing was fab u luos as usual and had a very high standard of dancing. All eyes were also on Alesha who rose above the furor and gave some great critiques. Bruce Forsythe lavished praise on Alesha throughout the show, telling her: ‘What a week you’ve had. And it’s been so unfair.
First to dance was Eastender’s girl Natalie Cassidy who is a self-confessed superfan of the show and still can’t believe she’s taking part. She and Vincent danced a dramatic tango and scored a respectable 24 out of 40. Alesha told her: ‘What I like about you is that you’ve decided to take this competition by the scruff of the neck.
Next up was Huddersfield girl Zoe Lucker and James Jordan. They danced a beautiful waltz and the judges praised her highly and scored her 30 out of 40!
Fellow Footballer’s Wife Laila Rouass, who looked stunning, danced a fantastic tango with Anton Du Beke. She did mess up in the middle but covered it like a true pro and got very high praise from the judges and scored 30 out of 40.
Corrie actor Criag Kelly was next with the wonderful Flavia. I love Flavia! She looked amazing and choreographed a Bangra inspired tango. Criag seemed nervous but gave it wellie and I think there is potential there. He scored 22 out of 40.
Phil Tufnell, the one we’ve all been waiting for and my boyfriend’s fave, was up next with Katya Virshilas dancing a waltz. Expectations were low so the surprise was even greater when he came out and danced a smooth and elegant waltz with fantastic footwork. He scored 29 out of 40! Craig said: ‘This show is always full of surprises and i have to say Mr Tuffnell you are one of them in a very respectable way.’
Champion jockey Richard Dunwoody “Richard Dungoody as Len said” danced a wooden (no pun intended) waltz with lovely Lilia. He may be in the dance off tonight and scored only 19 out of 40.
Jo Wood and Brendan Cole danced a rather excrutiating tango; Jo seemed so nervous but got thrugh the routine which is something. She scored 18 out of 40 and is at the bottom of the leaderboard. Something tells me she’ll be great at Latin though!
Last up, and with high expectations on his shoulders, was Ricky Whittle and new girl Natalie Lowe. The judges loved their waltz and were falling all over themselves with praise. Maybe it’s just me, but I thought it was just OK; he kept doing this weird dipping thing…anyway they scored 33 out of 40 and came top of the leaderboard.
Bring on the Latin tonight!

please could you tell me the name of the song and original artist of the tune that phil tuffnel and his partner danced to on week 2 fridays episode?
This hsow is re3ally spoilt now. That womand drives me crazy everytime she opens her mouth, and Goodness me that terrible loud laugh of hers. That laugh alone goes against the sweet little miss innocent image she is trying to portray. AND AS FOR LEN
He is s sell out. PLease Please Please Len, come back to the show. YOur are not really judging anymore,
WE KNOW that everyone is still nervous and are giving it their best, but they cannot improve if you are going to be judging like Alesha now.
