Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke has had another spiteful bust-up with his dance partner Laila Rouass.
The professional dancer became embroiled in two clashes on Saturday with the actress as they prepared to perform their jive on the BBC1 show.
The first came behind the scenes as the pair missed their dress rehearsal.
They had been struggling with their moves and a Beeb executive had to be called to defuse the situation.
A source said: She got so upset she ended up in tears in his office.’
And an on-air put-down by Anton – who was angered by their poor score – left Laila, 38, gobsmacked.
He said: ‘Pop the frock on back to front – we’ll all have a lovely time.’
Presenter Tess Daly leapt to Laila’s defence, saying: ‘Anton! Behave, please.’
Bruce Forsyth blasted Anton, saying: ‘He’s a fool.’
The pair scored 22 out of 40 – their lowest score of the series so far.
The 43-year-old is already in hot water after he called mixed-race actress Laila a ‘Paki’ earlier in the series when she showed up to rehearsals with a spray tan.
Despite calls for him to be sacked, the BBC stood by the dancer after he apologised live on air.
The row escalated as veteran show host Forsyth, 82, waded in, claiming ‘people should get a sense of humour’ in a call to a radio show on TalkSport.
He was forced to backtrack after BBC chiefs blew a fuse.
A BBC spokesman insisted the pair had a good relationship: ‘Laila and Anton are getting on great.
‘Rehearsal schedules are always subject to change on the day for any number of reasons from issues with costumes, hair, make-up, injuries or script changes.’
Meanwhile, the favourite to win Ricky Whittle admitted he is struggling to balance his Strictly schedule with long filming hours on Hollyoaks.
The actor is dashing between the show in London every weekend and the soap’s set in Liverpool during the week.
He said: I’m working 12-hour days filming Hollyoaks, then straight off to the studios in Liverpool with Natalie [Lowe] to rehearse until 11pm. I’m losing weight really fast because of all the exercise.
‘With Strictly I am mentally and physically knackered, everything aches. I knew it would be hard but I never thought it would be this tough.
‘I’ve been pushing so hard to impress the judges. I’m having physio on my hamstrings and my body is in pieces.’
