It’s not unusual for the Strictly judges to disagree about the dancing.

But on Saturday night, their squabbles boiled over into a full-blown row.

Head judge Len Goodman had clearly had his fill of the catty remarks being made about the performance of Ricky Groves and his partner Erin Boag.

Bruno Tonioli had described Groves’s rumba to the Bond theme Licence to Kill as ‘terrible’ adding: ‘Daniel Craig you have nothing to worry about. That was like a licence to kill the rumba.’

Then Craig Revel Horwood described the dance as ‘awkward’ adding that he thought ‘the entire routine was very conceited’.

Goodman turned on Revel Horwood saying: ‘I’ve got to be honest, Craig. I don’t like sitting next to you for a kick-off.

‘You’re getting on my nerves. I don’t mind a critique, but it’s got to be constructive. This is just destructive. You are just destroying these people.’

Revel Horwood butted in with ‘That’s absolute rubbish’, to which Goodman replied, as he stabbed a pointed finger in his direction: ‘Don’t start all that.’

Revell Horwood hit back: ‘Don’t start pointing at me’. And Goodman raised cheers from the audience even further with his reply that he would ‘do more than point in a minute’.

Revel Horwood gave the couple a score of just four out of ten, with Tonioli giving a five. The total score was just 24 out of 40.

Chris Hollins and his partner Ola Jordan made a better impression with their cha cha, which Mrs Jordan performed in a red catsuit that left a considerable expanse of skin on show. They scored 29 in total.

And Footballers’ Wives star Zoe Lucker was sent packing after viewers forced the judges to make a difficult choice between her and Ali Bastian.
