An emotional Natalie Cassidy and Vincent Simone were voted off Strictly Come Dancing tonight and were in the dance-off with Ricky and Natalie.
Natalie, who is a self-confessed superfan of the show, wept along with Vincent just after they had been knocked out.
All four judges and the crowd gave them a huge standing ovation; the likes of which I’ve never seen on Strictly before.
Show favourite Ricky Whittle will be shocked to find himself in the bottom two.
We will miss you Natalie and Vincent!

What a shame to see Natalie and Vincent voted off! Undeniably Natalie was not one of the most accomplished dancers, but definitely the most dedicated one and she always had a smile on her face and never seemed to complain unlike some of her fellow celebrities who like to use all sorts of little mishaps to get the sympathy vote.
The way it looks the judges have already made up their minds that the limpid simpering nondescript Ali should win the competition – why else the high marks even when her dancing was only mediocre?, so the rest of the competition will be a foregone conclusion from now on!
The 2009 competition is definitely not one of the highlights of the Strictly series – Arlene being replaced by somebody who knows as much about dancing as I do about rocket science, mostly dull and boring so-called celebrities and next week a ballet dancer to add her words of wisdom to an already uninteresting and not very exciting event!
Good luck, Natalie and Vincent – I shall miss you, because you were always entertaining, which is what this show should be all about!
I totally agree with everything you have said.
I do think everyone was sorry to see Natalie and vincentgo, but I wish natalie had bee kinder to vincent in her numerous comments,regar4ding both of them being the same height, vincent is taller than Natalie, and I wish Natalie had told everyone that the reason for not doing lifts etc was the fact that she was far too heavy for lifts, that may have made Vincent abit happier, regarding not lifting,it was nothing to do with height.it was weight,Natalies. I watched this Saturdays show with my little girl whose 4 and she was so upset when Natalie and Vincent got voted off, she really liked Natalie and Vincent, it took me about an hour to calm her down and for her to stop saying she wanted the lady in the spotty dress back and Jade she really misses her too.
Natalie might not have been top of the leader board but she had enthusiasm and went out nad had fun each week
I think Rikki Whittle is by far the most ELEGANT and VERSATILE dancer, and (so far) they deserve to win. He has real style! Good comportment, everything. He is also HONEST in admitting to mistakes, which we ALL make. Sounds as though you were trying to downgrade him? I know about dance; I have danced with five groups over 50 years, and been complimented by many of note, so I do know something about dance.
As for Vincent, he is a remarkable dancer but his talent was wasted on his partner. She is clumsy. Shame Vincent.
Why do you always pick Anton to go through? He is a ‘typical’ ballroom dancer. His last routine was dismal, nothing good choreographically. He could have done much better. How is it he is now on other shows? I don’t think he has any charisma.
