The 31-year-old is annoyed that BBC bosses will not allow her to perform her single `To Love Again’ on the programme.
Sources told the News of the World that Alesha is on the verge of quitting the dance show.
A source claimed: “Alesha’s right on the edge at the moment. She feels like the BBC haven’t backed her at all this year and she’s ready to quit after just one series.
“When Cheryl started on X Factor she was given a massive fanfare by Simon and the ITV producers. Alesha doesn’t believe she’s had any of that.
“The one thing she was really excited about was performing her single on the show. But they refused point blank.”
The insider said that BBC bosses were worried about appearing to promote the singer’s career on the show.
The source added: “The BBC producers are paranoid of looking like they’re promoting a commercial cause. There are all these rules and regulations to follow. But for Alesha it felt like a slap in the face.”

Would be great to see the back of Alesha, she is not a dance expert and her comments are embarassing -she murders the English language every week. Please bring back Arlene or Karen Hardy or keep Darcy – just let Alesha go!!!!
I think Alesha is beautiful in fact stunning. I like her music and feel on the whole she has done well on strictly. However, this is a dance competition and she is there as a judge not to promote herself. One criticism I do have and that I find quite painful, is when she kills the English language. For example she always puts was in a sentence when it should be were and I find this dreadful, where are the BBC in that they do not correct this. (e.\’You was amazing\’ should be you were amazing etc.) This sort of thing should be sorted out when anyone is involved in presenting.
Alesha is gorgeous…until she opens her mouth. She has actually done better than I expected as a judge but she still should not be on that panel. Darcey Bussell? Glorious ballerina but what on earth is she doing on the Strictly panel? There are so many wonderful girls in the dance world who would add glamour, if that is what the BBC must have, and would also know what they are talking about.
Please remove Alesha from the panel she is as other people have said not an expert on dance ..she is pop singer who has taken part in the contest. Please by all means have glamour but above all have and expert in their field like Karen Hardy she is beautiful and properly spoken and best of all constructive in her dance comments or bring back Arleen if she would come. Thank you.

it appears she is disliked. I think she is brilliant. She deserves to be a judge in the show. She adds glamour to it.
She is a good singer and a hard worker and she won the show two years ago or so. What’s your problem? If people like her are given the chance, the sky could be their limit.

i dont think aleisha should judge as i feel she is not qualified to do so it would be great to bring back arlene or perhaps karen hardy aleisha has an awful laugh and her grammer is terrible and also i was gutted that ali went out i thought it was a dancing contest i wish ali and brian well in the future together the make a lovely couple
I won\’t miss Alisha if she goes – she\’s not competent enough to judge a serious dance competition. Arlene Phillips should be reinstated, she\’s just as glamourous as Miss Dixon
So I gather, from all the comments about Alesha’s grammar, that we have a desire to have only mid-class; well-to-do; well-spoken individuals from one part of the country representing a multi-cultural; multi-racial (like it or not!) nation on our tv screens?!?
I think people should be more careful about the comments they make, and they way they go about slandering people. A person has been invited to do a job – so let her do it!
She’ll go when she’s good and ready; and not – hopefully – because she has been bullied out!

I Have mixed feelings about Alesha judging on strictly. she is a singer not a dance expert. However many singers have been on strictly promoting their latest hits. It would have been a better act than singing with Brucie, after all he isn’t a singer on the show but a presenter.
I also think Karen Hardy would make a perfect judge, she has it all.
Whilst I like Darcey Bussell she is a beautiful ballerina but too reserved or lacking in personality to be a good judge.
She’s pop singer as people said above , didn’t have many history related to danc as like Arlene or Bruno or Craige. She shouln’t be a judge for dancing competition.
Also I hate her ver loud laughing. As a woman judge shouldn’t behave like a market shopkeeper.
