Breaking news; Claudia Winkleman will present the Sunday night results show with Tess Daly for series 10 of Strictly Come Dancing!
It has been reported that Bruce Forsyth is too tired to present the results show, which is filmed directly after the live show goes out on Saturday.
Last year Claudia stepped in for Brucie when he had the flu (as well as good old Ronnie Corbett) and BBC producers obviously liked what they saw.
An insider said: “Claudia is the perfect choice as she already has a history with Strictly.
“It will be all about girl power with Tess at the helm as well.”
Hmm girl power, it’s not the Spice Girls, get with it BBC!
Claudia will be great fot the Sunday night results show as she already has a great rapport with all the professionals and the judges and she’s a safe pair of hands.

O God noooo. Anyone bar Claudia, she ok on SCD 2 but not the results show. Why o why do we have to have a result show…erm let me guess…another show to watch. I want to know on Sat night who is out not 24hours later. Sorry but the producers are going from bad to worse!

I’m not ashamed to admit as a 24 year old girl in a longterm relationship with a guy, that I LOVE Claudia Winkleface! She really does love the show so you can’t go wrong. And I love Brucie as much as the next guy but he doesn’t half get on my t*ts sometimes…
This is such abysmal thinking by the BBC. Claudia is fantastic and ITT is brilliant. But the hopeless decision making regarding SCD knows no bounds.
The pre-recorded Sunday night show is dead on arrival. The results need to be live – that’s what the viewers want. Why not go back to original format of 2 separate shows on a Saturday night with a break in between? This was perfect.
And after the show, Claudia should present a backstage show on BBC3.
Karen Hardy should be on the judging panel, not the pointless, inarticulate, unqualified Alicia Dixon. And Matt Cutler and Brian Fortuna should have been retained, along with Lilia who is much loved, while Anton should have gone – he is a handicap to his partners in that he cannot dance or teach fast Latin numbers.
Poor, poor, poor decisions BBC – doing your best to ruin your greatest asset.

Your long list omitted the most obvious: the BBC should never have prolonged the life of Bruce as a presenter if his legs can’t hold him up.
Claudia will be fine – maybe, to give her a break with her kids, one of the ex-pros might step in as ITT presenter from time to time: not rocket science.

Totally agree on Karen/Alicia – Karen who won series 4 would be far better.
Please, not Claudia. Strictly Come Dancing is a stylish show. BBC should choose an elegant, classy presenter.
I think that Anton should replace Bruce Forsyth full time.. he is a national heritage but its time to take a rest Brucie, he is a little dottery.. despite the catch phrase.
I do agree with another comment however that Karen Hardie would be fantastic on the Panel and yeh, Alicia proved her point but as much as I like her I always take her judging as a moot-point. OR your man from Dancing on Ice.. Jason – that would give some Craig/Jason excitement!
While I am here – love the show, love the BBC2 Show (leave Claudia there) and particularly love the efforts of the costume/wardrobe department x

Claudia will be great. But I am soooo disappointed that we’ll once again see the recorded show on the Sunday. This means we lose all the excitement and impetus which develops during the Saturday show. Everyone knows the results show is recorded on Saturday, so why delay it 24 hours?? There is definitely room in the Saturday schedule, and DigitalSpy leaks the results anyway. Very bad decision by the BBC!
I agree with all the others – why keep messing about with the show. It changes every year and never for the better. As far as I’m concerned, Claudia is completely dotty and will be a disaster on the main show – leave her where she is on the weekly show and let Tess carry on doing a fantastic job on both nights. Can’t believe that Lillia won’t be in this years show. WHO made that decision!! Someone is making some really weird decisions and will ruin the show completely if they don’t stop.
Hey Rob you tool at least spell Alesha’s name right its not Alicia as in Alicia Keys, whose the inarticulate one now? if you look back every year the show has changed even between the first and second series.
I think Claudia is really brilliant.very funny and off the cuff.I’ve even learnt to love her eyeliner! I’ve already made the comment that I like Brucie and I don’t think the show would be the same without him – but do agree that I would like to see the results live.I love strictly and the tv viewing is so poor on a saturday night – I don’t mind how long strictly is on for!
I have to say I agree I preferred last year’s format, with the whole show on one night. But I am actually delighted Claudia will be more involved with the actual show. I love her intelligent yet quirky way, and I think she’ll make a great team with Tess.
Matt’s, Lillia’s and Brian’s departures and a great pity. I loved their personalities and skills – but perhaps it was their own choice to move on?
I totally disagree with the criticism on Anton. I think he is a brilliant dancer and a wonderful teacher – even without winning results to prove it. It remains an unpredictable show. I would actually be very curious how he would do as a presenter, if Brucie decided to retire altogether. Anton is a gentleman with humour.
I guess I just can’t help loving them all. I will still be missing Arlene though, she added a good edge to the judging, and as much as I like Alesha (or Karen as suggested above), I think replacing her was a bad decision.
Can’t wait for it all to start up again! Roll on Autumn and Winter!
