I’m sure you are beside yourselves with excitement right now; have you got the wine chilling in the fridge and all your nibbles bought from the shops? I know I have.

Yes, we loved the boys last week, but this is is the week I’ve been waiting for…bring on the girls!

What will they be wearing? What will their hair look like? Will they be rubbishio?

Now, I have to say, I wasn’t pro or against Christine Bleakley when I heard she was on the show. I’ve seen her on the One Show and she’s always slightly irritated me. However, I was so wrong! She has come across so sweet in all the VTs and I think she is terrrfied so I’m really hoping she does well.

Also, Cherie looks fab so I’m looking forward to her Foxtrot. I also can’t wait for Lisa Snowden as I am a fan of hers from Britain’s Next Top Model so go on Lisa!!

Strictly Come Dancing chiefs were left red-faced after Stephanie Beacham’s routine was revealed to be a copycat of one on the US version.

Dynasty star Stephanie, 60, danced the Quickstep to KT Tunstall’s hit Suddenly I See before getting the boot on Saturday.

But a week ago former Beverly Hills 90210 actress Jennie Garth did the SAME dance to the SAME song on Dancing With The Stars — seen here on UKTV Gold.

Dancing With The Stars is live on Monday and Tuesday nights in the US.

A show source said: “The routines were very similar. You can’t say Stephanie and her partner Vincent Simone nicked the routine from Jennie — they would never have had time.

“But the producers of both shows know each other and must know what the stars are doing.”

Last night a BBC spokeswoman insisted: “All the ballroom and Latin dances have certain repertories of steps.

“So there would of course be similarities in the routines as they both danced the Quickstep.

“But Stephanie and Vincent danced an entirely different routine. It was purely a coincidence it was to the same music.”

The shows share two judges, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli, and some staff have worked on both.

Well it’s goodbye to Stephanie, but she didn’t seem too unhappy about it did she? I think it was the right decision as it would have been a shame to see Letitia go in the second week; and I think nerves did get the better of her. I was expecting Gabby to be in the bottom two though.

So, the bottom two this week were Letitia and Darren and Stephanie and Vincent. Were you surprised?All the judges apart from Arlene voted to keep Letitia and Darren in which I am very happy about!

‘Oh thank goodness!’ said Stephanie. ‘I have adored watching this hard work… I am so grateful to be let out of my misery.’

Kelly Brook- fair play. She had a lot of pressure on her tonight and she delivered. I thought it was a wonderful performance and she is well worth the hype…my boyfriend thought so as well.

I feel sorry for Gabby as she looked crestfallen. She was clearly expecting better comments than that and I thought she was very good. Although she needs to chill out a bit! Letitia was obviously very nervous but did good all the same, and credit to Stephanie for her great effort!

Penny was fabulous as expected, I’m very excited at seeing what she has to offer as the competition gets going. Poor poor Kate. We really have to take into account that she has probably had half the amount of practice as the others. I think that she WILL be through to next week and that GABBY and STEPHANIE will be in the bottom two.

Watching your giggling wife collapse under the weight of her sexy dance tutor on national television could spell trouble for some marriages.

But not TV sports presenter Gabby Logan’s. Because her husband Kenny’s next door – doing something similar with the wife of Gabby’s instructor.

Fear not though, this is no sleazy version of Wife Swap. Gabby and Kenny are the first husband and wife team on Strictly Come Dancing.And as an added quirk, they’re partnered with husband and wife professionals James and Ola Jordan.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mirror ahead of tonight’s “ladies” show, Gabby says: “We all work well together. Because James and Ola live outside of London we train at the same location so they can travel in together.

“It’s been nice for the four of us to have coffee or go for lunch.”

Mega-fit Gabby, whose background as a gymnast gives her a head-start in the flexibility stakes, is more concerned about her husband’s two left feet.

“Before we started this, Kenny had no sense of rhythm and wasn’t musical in the slightest,” she says. “The only time I’ve seen him dance was at our wedding.”

It’s been a tough week for Kate, having lost so much rehearsal time, so there’s no time for laughs. ‘Do we have time for all this joviality?’ she asks Anton. ‘Come on let’s do it. No more fun please.’

Penny and Ian have been working very hard, often prompting Penny to lie in a starfish shape on the floor after a run through. ‘It’s like running the 100 metres!’ she said.

Letitia has been getting to grips with the dance steps, and her partner by the sounds of things. ‘I want to squeeze his bum today, sorry Lilia, artistic licence!’(...)
